How often do you get the chance to see the President of the US? (All you senators and foreign leaders quit e-mailing me...I know you see him all the time! And Mr. Blair...I'm warning you....one more time and I'm blocking your phone number!) When I found out the leader for the Free World was coming to Auburn, I had to get tickets!

I left work early on Thursday and headed to Auburn. It's a much shorter trip from downtown than home, so I made it in record time. I thought I would take more pictures, but I didn't. The lines were huge and we used our VIP-level tickets to get around the 3/4 mile long line (and no, that is not an embellishment).



Bush was to speak on behalf of a governor candidate and senate candidate for Alabama. Since I'm a registered voter of Georgia, I didn't pay too much attention to them or their names or anything. Upon arrival into the baseball field, I found the scoreboard humourous so I took a picture of it. I'm stil unsure of how the Republicans scored 20 runs off of 2 hits. Must have been a lot of walks.

Standing room only, and we got there kind of late, so we didn't get too close up front. Thank god for digital and optical zoom!
