For fear of getting beat down in-flight, I took no pictures of my flight to Boston. The morning started out like any other....getting bitched out at work, etc, etc. Syd was gracious enough to give me a ride to the airport and agreed that her and Ryan would watch the 4Runner while I'm gone.
The airport was uneventful. Flight was normal. And as always, the brunette with the big boobs in the capri pants and tight, low-cut blue blouse was across the aisle from me. I was stuck sitting next to some dumbass....why does that always happen to me? Oh well, it was a 737-800 anyway and I'm sure the bathrooms weren't big enough :)
Logan Airport is just like any other airport in need to massive rehabilitation. Got a cab with no problem, but thanks to this Big Dig it took almost an hour to get the 5 miles from the airport to my hotel. Ya just gotta love public works projects that are $16billion and about 10 years over budget. Anyway, I checked into my hotel and decided to explore my nearby surroundings. Nice area, as you'll see.
First order of business was to eat! I had heard that the Bull and Finch Bar was in the area. Now, for those of you not in the loop, the Bull and Finch is a nice place to go because makin' your way in the world today takes everything you got, takin a break from all your worries sure would help a lot. That's right, the Bull and Finch was the inspiration for the bar where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came....Cheers. Of course, only the outside was where they took the shots. Inside it's just as cramped as a London pub. They have signed pics all over the place of Cheers stars (even the rare Coach's autograph!!) and a virtual boatload of t-shirts and tourist crap (I didn't fall for it). After waiting 10 minutes for traffic to clear, I finally got a decent shot, however I couldn't convince people to move. You get the gist of it, and no, it won't turn into an 1880's shot with a horse and carriage rolling down the street so there's no use in waiting.
